Xeos Online Launches Customer Portal
Xeos Technologies Inc. is proud to announce the upcoming launch of the Xeos Online Customer Portal.
Xeos Online is a web based software monitoring tool developed by Xeos Technologies, a global exporter of remote monitoring tools and oceanographic asset recovery beacons.
Xeos Online was initially designed for users to manage Xeos remote wireless products but they can now also communicate with non-Xeos equipment. Users can manage their inventory, receive and broadcast messages and send commands to remote equipment. A history and log file of the messages sent to/from the equipment is also maintained and is accessible at any time.
A new version of Xeos Online will be launched on February 15, 2015 that incorporates recommendations and feature requests from customers as well as some extra features thought up by the development team.
Some of the new features include:
- Addition of the XI-100 and XI-202 Remote Relay Stations to the supported device list
- Simple ASCII Forwarder which parses incoming messages into quick cell & text compatible messages for broadcast
- Support for AES256 encryption
Applications are also being accepted for the Iridium Customer Portal, which allows users to manage their Iridium communication account activations and review their own bills. Initially, the customer portal is restricted to larger Original Equipment Manufacturers who are rebilling Iridium accounts to their own customers.
“Xeos Online was one way of extending the usefulness of our equipment for our customer base by letting them manage everything in one place and have a historical record of their equipment activity. “ says Derek Inglis, President of Xeos Technologies Inc. “But we discovered that it was useful far beyond our own equipment and we’ve started getting requests from OEMs interested in having their products added on.”
Plans for future releases include a new look and feel coming in Spring 2015.
