XEOS TECHNOLOGIES WELCOMES NEW VP OF MANUFACTURING
Expansion continues for innovative Oceans Tech FirmMarch 4, 2015 - Dartmouth, NS
In line with its steady growth since its founding, Xeos, an innovative design & manufacturing firm in the Ocean Technology sector, is welcoming Ron Babin to its executive in the position of VP of Manufacturing.
Mr. Babin is originally from New Brunswick, Canada. He started working with Litton Systems Canada in the late 1970’s as a Test Technician and progressed steadily to the position of Project Coordinator. In that position, he was part of the team that managed the design, construction and set-up of the state of the art facility in the Aerotech Business Park in Enfield, NS. In the mid ‘80s, he transferred to Halifax to take on the position of Manager of Administration for the facility in Enfield, eventually becoming Operations Manager. Mr. Babin joined Seimac Ltd., a leader in NS Ocean Technology, in 2004 as the Manufacturing Manager. When Seimac merged with Orion Electronics (then both owned by Cobham LLC), Mr. Babin took on the role of VP Manufacturing.
Xeos is pleased to have Mr. Babin join the team as he brings a wealth of manufacturing and human resource experience with global exporters.
Xeos Technologies, known for their rugged, innovative marine asset recovery beacons and polar data relays, has experienced steady growth including breaking into new export markets. Their location in Burnside has recently been expanded and the team continues to develop new and exciting product as it expands its global market share.
